Voici le nouveau line-up de Chapter 9. Petit avant goût avant de pouvoir nous retrouver sur scène au grand complet dans quelques temps ! Je suis extrêmement ravi de pouvoir faire un bout de chemin avec quelques musiciens dont je respecte et admire le talent, à savoir Gil (Lasserre – A Guy in Light) et Damien (Somville – U Don’t Necessarily Need a Shrink, Fairguson,…), ainsi que mes fidèles destriers, Antoni Rougeaux, et le trublion Louis Geoffroy.
Un immense bravo et merci à Thibaut qui m’a soutenu pendant des années et nous a aidé à construire l’identité du groupe, et auquel nous faisons référence en reprenant la majeure partie de ses excellents arrangements.
Les photos ont été prises par l’excellente et gentille Aurélie Decourteix, que vous pouvez soutenir visuellement en allant sur son MySpace, et voilà !

Here you are, here is the new line-up. Showing to you Chapter 9 for 2009! I’m very very proud to introduce to my new bandmates, Gil (Lasserre – A Guy in Light) and Damien (Somville – U Don’t Necessarily Need a Shrink,Fairguson,…), as well as the other guys who have been following the project for some time now, Antoni Rougeaux & the « overjoyful » Louis Geoffroy.

Tout d’abord, merci à tous ceux qui se sont déplacés par un temps glacial, ce n’était pas facile, je l’admets ! Des commentaires des gens présents, je crois que la soirée fut belle…
Quelques ressentis côté scène ?
La chaleur du public, yeux attentifs, oreilles itou. Beaucoup d’amour émanait de vous ! si si
Quelques photos témoigneront mieux de l’ambiance que je ne pourrais le faire avec des mots. Côté coulisses, maintenant, je peux vous dire que ce fut un régal de rencontrer l’une de mes idoles, Mark Olson. Ce songwriter américain, quoiqu’un peu fiévreux, donne toujours tout. Il a beaucoup d’amitié à transmettre à partager, ce fut très agréable de le rencontrer, d’échanger un peu avec lui. J’espère pouvoir remonter sur scène pour le soutenir un jour proche ou lointain !

Hi all,
I wanted to share the few memories I have from Monday night’s show with Mark Olson. It was just awesome, just as planned.
And despite the scarce crowd, despite the cold of night, and Mark’s flu or cold, it was a really special night for me. I mean, opening for Mark, you don’t do it everyday, and it’ll probably never happen again – crossing fingers here really really hard (to the point it’s hard to type on the keyboard!!) – but guys, you should have seen my face all night.

We did that cover from the Jayhawks Tom (on the Jayhawks FanPage Board) suggested we did, The Man Who Loved Life. There are mistakes in the version, sorry for that, there’s a beautiful solo from my bandmate Thibaut, you enjoy!
