OK, maintenant mettez la chanson à fond, seul, et re-regardez cette photo. De minable, pitoyable, ma famille est passée à étrange, bizarre, presque comme si nous sortions d’un film d’épouvante. Je partage avec vous cette impression qui m’a frappée comme je scrollais des photos sur Facebook et que j’écoutais en même temps Crosby. La chanson précédente sur cet album magnifique est beaucoup moins terrifiante… Et quand entre cette voix glaciale (le titre évoque d’ailleurs plutôt la présence d’un fantôme que d’une présence physique réelle), le monde change soudainement…
Remettez CAKE sur cette chanson (cliquez sur la cassette orange, sur notre site… !) et vous verrez que ma famille redevient soudainement très drôle. J’ai composé Cake, j’écoute Crosby. Tout le monde a deux faces qu’il dévoile ou non !

I had this weird feeling when scrolling some pictures on FaceBook this day and listening to David Crosby’s wonderful album, and I thought I’d have to share it with you guys. Let me know what you think of it,… !
Oh and by the way, I urge you to listen to CAKE! and look at the picture once again to see that me and my family are not ghosts and we don’t come from a strange land!
